Arbitration

The World Arbitration Centre may serve as an arbitrator appointing authority to assist in ad hoc arbitration. If the parties agree to conduct ad hoc arbitration in accordance with the United Nations International Trade Law Commission Arbitration Rules (hereinafter referred to as the "UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules") and agree that the World Arbitration Centre shall be the appointing authority or provide other assistance, the WAC’s Guidelines for Assisting Ad Hoc Arbitration under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules (“the Guidelines”) apply.
