Arbitration

The World Arbitration Center may manage arbitration procedures in accordance with the United Nations International Trade Law Commission Arbitration Rules (UNCITRAL Rules).

Since the UNCITRAL Rules apply to both institutional arbitration and ad hoc arbitration, when the parties agree to apply the UNCITRAL rules, it is necessary to clarify whether the role played by the World Arbitration Center is a management institution (for institutional arbitration) or an arbitrator-appointing authority (for ad hoc arbitration).

In case the Center applies UNCITRAL rules to manage arbitration, the Centre will collect arbitration deposits and allocate arbitration fees according to the World Arbitration Center Arbitration Fee Schedule.
